Son Of Khaine Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 I'm looking at converting this model to a Chaos Marine. http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/7154/m118169499060201134chao.jpg Now considering my GS skill are weak,how would you guys go about converting this bad boy? Perhaps bulking his armor out a tad to illustrate more of a power armored appearance,add some more futuristic weapons (bolter or bolt pistol) I think his left hand might be armored enough to paint over without much difficultly. GooseDaMoose Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 I think as you said, bulking out his armour to be power armour, and I would cover up his bare arm(s) but that's personal. If it's done well enough he wouldn't even need a bolt pistol, though a holster might look good. And a collar. Terminatorinhell Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 I woulg lop his axe arm off at the wrist, replace it with a chain axe, replace the legs just below the knees with chaos marine legs (cut the legs to fit the knees) and give a holstered pistol. Son Of Khaine Posted January 24, 2011 Author Share Posted January 24, 2011 I hadn't thought about his legs,that's a good point to bulk them out a bit to be more armored. Also I need to see if his right shoulder is able to take a pad as it appears to be smaller then the left. Plague Angel Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 Durus' looks pretty good, but I think I might go with a complete arm-swap. The axe is all wrong (unless it's a daemon weapon) and while I don't mind the bare arm, adding a different arm/chainaxe may be the way to go.
