Wulfenstein
I'm pretty sure that is exactly what I said? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220758-theory-on-ferrus-manus/page/3/#findComment-2639726 Share on other sites
Sons of Horus
It still counts as Fulgrim Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220758-theory-on-ferrus-manus/page/3/#findComment-2639814 Share on other sites
Aegnor
It really doesn't in terms of Fulgrim as a character. IMO. There's a big difference between say Magnus or Angron achieving daemonhood and immortality, the ultimate reward for a Chaos champion, and losing your body to another entity and a fate worse than death. Fulgrim got utterly pwned by the daemon in the end and his foolish dreams died with him. It's no surprise that it was the Emperors Children that descende to utter madness and incoherency first out of all the traitors. Wulfenstein
I'm pretty sure I said the deamon that took control was elevated to deamon prince status. As the daemon has control over soul and body after Fulgrim's mishap... But it's all good. After re-reading some more fluff I still want to say Ferrus Manus is dead as a doornail. But GW can always prove me wrong :cuss Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220758-theory-on-ferrus-manus/page/3/#findComment-2639926 Share on other sites
calgar101
Dominicus there is no discussion for Dorn, he is dead, It is categorically stated in the Space Marine codex. Dominicus
Dominicus there is no discussion for Dorn, he is dead, It is categorically stated in the Space Marine codex. ...dreamcrusher... With GW, anything is possible. I see Dorn breaking from the amber after a huge psychic shockwave sent out by the Emperor's revival. Or he could be in a coma, and they trapped him in amber to preserve his body. or he could be dead. Any of the above work. calgar101
Well since he is now a skeleton I don't think he'll be coming back any time soon. He died halting a Blakc Crusade but is dead none the less. Dominicus
Well since he is now a skeleton I don't think he'll be coming back any time soon. He died halting a Blakc Crusade but is dead none the less. That is true... But with the Emperor as a father and the GW with their twisted minds, I'm sur that they will find a way to bring him back. Maybe the amber contoured to his skeleton will flow and for his body knee more, at the will of the Emperor. Who knows? Dominicus
It is but people still cling on to the Dorn is alive theory when he is as dead as a dodo. Honestly, if Dorn is dead, that's great. I'm just thinking of other theories that could be floating out there. And to put this thread to rest, once and for all, Ferrus Manus is dead. Gone. Deceased. He has no head. The silver covered his hands, not his head. Horus had the head, and the Iron Hands never recovered it. Probably in Abbadon's showcase. It is impossible to build a mechanical head for his body that will guide it in his manner and with his thoughts. He is probably a skeleton, like Dorn.
