We decided to try out one of the GT scenerios with a buddies nids deployment -spear head special rules .night fight-entire game .hold the most table quarters win 15 points, tie 10, loss 5 secondary opbjectives worth 1 point each (3) down center line of table .orbital bombardment-at the start fo each players movement a S8 AP3 (3d6 against vehicles) 5" orbital strike will scatter off of one of the 3 objectives. His list was a sper elite nid force with X2 warrior prime X2 trygon prime X2 warrior brood with lash whip bone swuord and gun X4 stealer units with broodlord X1 amoral stealer brood http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i112/mughi3/batreps/k112911.jpg Unlike out last game his rending claws were actually working for him. i managed to shoot both his trygons to death when they arrived. his stealers flanked both right and left however i managed to clear my left flank and hold onto it. while contesting my right flank. If the game had ended turn 5 it would have been a draw as i had scouts sitting in a third table quater contesting it and holding an objective. however the game went to 6 and he managed to eliminate the scouts. giving him a solid victory but equalling out in secondary objectives.
