Stormraven assembly

Thanks for all the replies, ideas, and pics!

I agree the RB turret sets a bit too hight, but that could be fixed by counter sinking it a bit, just enough so that the top of the turret base is flush w/ the top of the hull of the Raven. May require a little work, but sounds like the route I'll take when I receive my kit. Besides, Servitor under glass isn't for Me. B)

jb85 - I think the FW RB turret would work perfect, but I'd wanna see it on a Raven before I commit. Anyone have a FW RB turret to set on top of their Stormraven kit to see what it looks like?

It looks pretty slick with a bare hull top. But frankly sir, I don't like the RB cannon. :( I prefer the stock look as it is. Though I'm open-minded enough that I would like to see a predator turret mounted. This would be a more aerodynamic and complete look.

Ok chaps, I've managed to take a couple of pics with both a Baal turret and a FW turret, albeit a MM one. Personally I like the look of the FW one the best, you've just got to picture AC's or lascannons on the sides instead of the MM and searchlight.

The Baal turret I think looks like a disaster;

The Landraider turret has been covered by the RB turret - both the same.

After all this fannying about I'm just going to assemble the stock model :eek and be damned with it :lol:

Maybe when I get a second one I may think about the FW Lascannon turret or scratchbuild my own. For now I just want to get it painted and dropping DC in my enemies face :o
