120mm Space Marine model ideas

I've just bought the 120mm Space Marine from Forge World, it's not here yet but I've already started planning in my head. I found your site completely by random, but love your weargear and have used it quite a bit.

I've choosen a Dark Angels Veteran, but not sure about the melee choice. I was either thinking powersword or chainsword but I'm open for suggestions, as they would not be supplied and would have to be made from scratch. Also the helmet supplied is a Mk VII, so the Mk VIII neck armor would be a scratch build job but at least not as bad as the melee.

Please give me your advice or thoughts, as all help before I start would be great.
