Typical Cricket Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 I'm wondering if anyone has been able to hook up their Citadel Spray Gun to a compressor before? I have a Mastercraft 7.6 litre compressor that I use for odd jobs, like air stapling and such. It came with a recoil hose with a 1/4" NPT male fitting, but I have no idea what the fitting would be on the li'l hose that the Spray Gun comes with. Any ideas? Tanhausen Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 I use an adaptor that I stick at the spray gun so I can go and screw the compressor onto the gun. I think it goes from the 1/4 to the 1/8 (male and female respectively) and its quite easy to find (hardware stores, arts shops that carry AB...) Also, the spraygun's hose is quite bad... so I use the compressors hose. Remember to use a moisture trap in order to prevent water splattering out from your spraygun. Hope it helps!
