Hellios
Nor does length of service over-rule aptitude. Dante was probably fast-tracked for command as soon as his tactical nous was recognised and promoted in line with his capabilites as he developed them. Marines, as a general rule, do NOT promote by seniority. They have learnt that mere age does not a good leader make. This... To make an example of the Ultramarines the Older captain of the 1st company seems worried that when Calgar dies it may well be the younger captain of the 2nd company that takes calgars places rather than him... Although I'm sure they are both fine officers. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223703-azaraiah-kyras/page/2/#findComment-2678402 Share on other sites
greatcrusade08
yeah its a good and valid point, agemman is the regent of ultramar and should be the successor to Calgar, however Sic-boy is a bit of a brown nose and has the eye of the big man, hes definately after the top job.
