HH novella

Aegnor...if I could get a copy of the Night Lord novella and this one. I would drink the oceans dry just to own them. I hate not having the money to order this new one coming out.

Just for the record, dude, I'm not sure there is a Night Lord novella coming out any time soon.

There's the Primarch Anthology, which is 4 novellas in one book, (like the short stories in Tales of Heresy and Age of Darkness) and that's next year, I think.

And there're two limited edition novellas: Nick Kyme's Salamanders/Vulkan one, and my one about Lorgar after Istvaan/reflecting on what he saw in the Eye of Terror.

(One of my D&D group - it's my D&D weekend - is looking over my shoulder, and said "Maybe he means Shadow Knight". If so, y'mean the short story in the BLL chapbook? That'll almost definitely be in a future NL omnibus, so you're covered there.)

Is the extract from the limited edition one, or from the Primarch anthology? I'd love to get the two limited Ed ones, esp being a Sallies player. Who's writing the four novellas in the Primarch anthology? Yourself, Abnett, McNeil and Swallow?

Sorry for the 20 questions!

Limited Edition novellas: http://aarondembskibowden.wordpress.com/20...eresy-novellas/

Anthology of novellas: Can't remember the complete line-up of who's in it, it's the stuff that's not mine and Nick's limited edition ones, and isn't out for a year and a half, or whatever. There's info out there on it, somewhere. Not much, given the time frame involved.

EDIT: I think it's Chris Wraight, Graham McNeill, Rob Sanders and Nick Kyme.

edit: oh, and thanks for "Shadow Knight" bit, now I know not to buy your NL novels. I'll wait for omnibus.

It was a foregone conclusion; Black Library always do it. But get comfortable. It'll be about 3-4 years, I reckon.

Yea, I did mean Shadow Knight (forgot the name and what they were). Alright, I am content to wait the time for the NL's Omnibus. But wow, great representations of the Traitor Primarchs, and thank you for clearing my head on that one.

This is good. LOLELDAR is nearly as good as DEFILOTRONftw!

Whatever tea and biscuits you are on A D-B, keep on them.

On the subject of Chaos Marines, are they all pretty much mean-spirited, selfish and insecure with one another?

It makes me wonder how they can survive as a military outfit with such decayed morale....

Hate makes better glue than morale does. :)

It's quite strange but up until reading TFH I considered the Word Bearers to be the Traitor Legions answer to the Ultramarines (No real character and no real interesting features). Now I actually find myself caring about them now.

Mostly due to the fact that Argel Tal is an interesting type of "villain" ( I use that word loosely as it's true he's a traitor but that's more to do with his unfortunate circumstances rather than an evil morality) but also because I want to know (badly) just what the hell Lorgar saw in the Eye to push him over the edge into damnation (can't really say it made him consider it, he was already standing before the abyss before even getting near Cadia)

Back on topic, that last line was perfectly written as it gives a sly nod to Lorgar's previous dealing's with possessed individuals. Sort of makes sense that he's the only one the Primarchs who would notice. Even Horus had to have it pointed out to him by the daemon in question. The Alpha Legion make it clear we're never going to know if they're truly loyal or not and Curze, well it's past time he got his own novel. Downside to that, there's nobody else I'd really trust to do him justice apart from ADB and at this rate a quarter of the remaining books would need to be churned out by him :/

Theres something about it not quite right I cant put my finger on.......wheres all the normal stuff like contact details and other info thats on every other BL extract? (Have a look at the Age of Darkness and Blood Reaver Extracts for a comparison)

This was a .pdf of something I handed in a few days ago. Editorial haven't made it into a print copy yet. It's not even named. My Word.doc is called LOLELDAR.doc., in a moment of astonishing maturity.

Was a bit of a surprise to see it show up so fast, actually.

Cool-confirmed by A-D-B that it was actually written by A-D-B is enough proof for me :D Maybe I was just too suspicious last week with it being the start of April!

LOLELDAR would be a great name for it ;)

Hell I'll buy anything just to keep supporting your brilliant writing :) :)

Ontopic : Very very nice piece that LOLELDAR extract !!

Can't wait till the full story !!

very interesting, I'm wondering how Horus will deal with this, altough I think If Magnus would have been present he would have known too instantly that Fulgrim was not really Fulgrim.. Or that's my thought.. altough good old Magnus thoughts have been quite occuppied lately :)

Limited edtion horus heresy novels !! sweet jezus !

Must have those !!

I started reading the HH series accidentally, and because of my work schedule I was only able to read 3-4 books in those time periods, that was all well and good because I would forget about the series for about a year at a time, but now I'm too far in, and can't get HH off my mind. The wait is excruciating and I have no idea how you guys handle it who have been following from the beginning
