I was staring to read Angles of Darkness first, but now seeing some posts on the forums that maybe Decent of Angles came first. So what should be read first? Angels of Darkness was written before the two Horus Heresy DA novels and Purging of Kallidus. As I said, in the time line of the universe, the two Horus Heresy novels chronologically before Angels of Darkness and Purging of Kallidus. You don't have to specially read any of them to know what is going on in any of the rest of them, so read them in whatever order you want, but it probably does make some sense to read them in the time frame order that the novels go in: Descent of Angels, Fallen Angels, then Angels of Darkness. Thank you everyone for your help, it's good to know, I don't have to read them in order since I only have Angles of Darkness now. I will read it, then will get the others when I see them.
