ShinyRhino
I love the fact that you had the attention to detail enough to cut the pistol grip from Memo's holster, since he's already got a pistol in his hand. Nice work!

Olis
I think his torso has been twisted at little too far to the right. Move it back a little toward the middle and he'll be positioned just right, I'd say. Doing anything with the Templar Cross on his breastplate or are you leaving it? Move it back a little toward the middle and he'll be positioned just right, I'd say. Doing anything with the Templar Cross on his breastplate or are you leaving it? thanks for insight, i was thinking was his torso too much but wanted another persons view, the templar cross will stay, as i can give two reasons for it, 1) Kantors company in called the crusade company, and the templar cross is a symbol connected to a crusade. or 2) He was a member in the joint crusades the IF's, CF's and BT's go on... Olis
2) He was a member in the joint crusades the IF's, CF's and BT's go on... This one is the most obvious reason, I think. But it's quite a neat one, if you allow for other campaign badges and marks. Perhaps he spent extended time seconded to some BT's?

Yep indeed, and he saved a high marshall and Kantor promoted him to his gaurd....sorted lol
Redfinger
This is cool, I think the iron cross emblems fit in really well with any chapter that originated from Dorn, CF's IF's, Templar's, ect....infact in my IF army I am using the Black Templar upgrades bits on a 1st Company LRC and I think it looks great. Keep it up.
Doghouse
Very nice stuff mate! You've really done well seeing how rough you sounded last time we spoke. I do agree that the torso needs a slight twist but other than that you've made a great use of the Mk III parts. I'd go with the cross as a campaign marking or even an obscure reference to an ancient IF battle honour dating back to sigismund seeing as the icon is so prominent with the Templars. Alpha PTP
Only complaint I have are the mold lines. Other than that the stuff looks great. Try running like that honor guard guy. You will look ridiculous and feel uncomfortable. Like Doghouse said, it needs a slight twist to look more natural. I would also strip the paint off those parts before you prime the guy too. The parts will look thick otherwise.
Grizzly_bear
@redfinger: thank you mate, the BT upgrade sprue is great for mixing in with IF's and CF forces, ties in really nicely with their shared 'religion' @Doghouse:it's your fault I got this, some Internet vial bug you've created lol thanks or the tips and props as always fella. @ah-a-nothepsis: again thank you also mate, faces are a big thing for me, used to hate them and used to just make them look 'ok' but now I take my time with them and try to make them a gd focal point, so I'm glad your self and others like them. @Alpha PTP:the mould lines are an issue and I do know this, I just get a painting bug and want to just start on a unit, thing is lately I have been spending more tome cleaning up the lines but 1 or 2 hide and then give me the middle finger when I start painting, but thank you also too. I'll hopefully have some pictures up if some models I've nearly got done today and tonight. thanks again for commenting and for the constructive criticisms. I'm always really eager to paint a model when I get them. I typically spend fix to six hours total building an unconverted ten man unit removing mold lines and 'evening out' parts (like the trim on chaos armor where it just blends back into the legs.) Its a lot of work and it is very tedious, but I honestly think it is worth it in the end. If I spend $35 on a five man unit of models, I am going to make damn sure they look the best that I can make them. :tu:

I'm going to borrow my friends Airbrush. How did you do the weathering? Cheers mate, the weathering was done with just a large brush: Track weathering was scorched brown, then a lighter brush over with bestial brown then a very fine 'dust dry brush' of grave yard earth. Exhausts: scorched brown and chaos black mix 50/50 then pure chaos black both stages dry brushed/heavy stippled on

Few mold lines still knocking about, but I can't criticize as I've let a few of them slip through myself <_< Anyway, check out my WIP if you get the chance as I could do with a few opinions. Leardinal
You know most of my praises and criticisms already, but I feel the power sword needs something. Maybe some cleaning up, or a wash? Anyway, http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb323/Rob_grizz4/Crimson%20Fists%204th%20comapny/Bikersgt4.jpg The mold line on his legs was the first thing I noticed, but that might just be me used to looking for them. Also, I am angry with you, because you have reminded me how much work I need to get back to on my own guys :)

Grizzly_bear
@leardinal: when i finally noticed the mould it was far too late to do anything about it, i was screwing in my head, but hey, i just gotta be more careful, but thanks for the comments, i agree with the power sword and i'm going to re visit the model once i get all my desk cleared of everything, including my LPC works. @Ah-a-nothepsis: thanks mate, hopefully i can get the fnal two members built once their parts come through. once again thanks for the comments and looking people. rob
