Right flesh reciepe Basecoat two thin coats of Tallan flesh wash with O.flesh 1:1 mix of Tallan flesh, vermin brown re wash with O.flesh then a 1:1:1 mix of tallan flesh, vermin brown and elf flesh then make a 1:1 mix of tallan flesh and elf flesh final thin wash of O.flesh DONE hopw this helps people Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

With regard to the tabard on the sergeant above, I think I would go with bone white. I think the contrast to the dark blue would be cool. Thank you sir, which model are you talking about may I ask too? Lol I put the models together then PVA the base and dip them in the basing sand u get from GW, then I sometimes put watered down PVA glue on top of the sand or varnish to seal them completely, then undercoat them black. Because they're a chapter who hate orks, are the elites at fighting orks (having alot of members of the chapter going to death watch kill teams) and if I was an elite ork hater/killer I'd want a tank that has a 6 battled rotary cannon spewing out 6000 rounds a minute at a race tat charges at u in their hundreds and are naturally resilient. that's why they should be for CF's too :-D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Are you going to give him some for of tabbard/loincloth thing? "Sicarus" looks good, you might want to raise his pistol, make him look like he his about to shoot someone after slicing an opponent in two. I also have to say that the "Lysander" looks, well, like a Grey Knight. His actual model would be great to use, seeing as the IF and CF use very similar iconography. I just noticed witch legs you chose, and I was going to say that they looked too BA, but the blood drops blend in well enough that you don't notice them unless you are looking for them. Grizzly_bear Posted June 27, 2011 Author Share Posted June 27, 2011 @leardinal: thanks man, appreciate the words, about the blood drops, ima paint them a purple-ly colour like the BA do and write a bit of fluff on him that he was on a supportive mission with the CF 4th company aiding the blood angles against an ork incursion and he had suffered horrific scaring and wounds but stood above a BA Cpt that has been knocked out and defended him untill more aid was able to come...and for that effort he was honoured the BA blood drops to show the bond of brother hood between two completely different chapters. :-D And @hushrong: I do try and remove the mould lines but obviously do miss some in my haste to get painting....and thank you about the kind words on the hair and facial painting, there's a worded tut in this page above explaining my usual way of painting faces....taken me a long time to get them to a standard people can notice and like but I'm no where near perfect or anything.
