Well had a good restock on the ol'gubbins so work can recommence.

 

Sword Brethren Roesor.

 

Took me a while to get this one done, mostly based on something didnt look right. Pose= good, leaning into the charge= good, beat stick in the air= always good...etc. Then I saw it, I was trying to use a Termie shield but was just to odd looking. So slapped this little number together. Also had to get rid of that silly looking skull on top of the mace, replaced with..more spikes..yay.

I am filled with pure unadulterated fiery Zeal as I look upon myself. I need a new sgt for my command squad, I reckon i'll copy myself exactly (Maybe with flail) o.O

 

The mace/shield combo is bang on man they both look beautiful and Killy. I would have preffered a more 'Steadfast feet planted' look maybe, but only maybe. You do me great honour Eberious. May I bring you a tally of xenos and chaos filth that rivals that of Sigismund himself!!!

 

Oh, are we saying power maul or thunder mace? o.O

@Roesor, Glad like it. I tried the steadfast approach but the mace dwarfed him a little. So the dramatic chargeing look won, minimising the mace a little. For now its a power mace/maul, if/when we get a new codex and the option is allowed for SB's to have thunder hammer style weapons then the options are open.

dannis= apothecary, power sword

templar 14= apothecary, power fist, bionics

 

Sword Brethren:

smirnov= sword and sheild

Nyustukyi= sword

draco= pair of LC

 

@Grey Knight Purifier. Not taking on at the moment sorry, even though the requested model is simple. I have said can't do for others...for the time being anyways. When I get closer to finishing the list I have at the moment, I will most probably continue the project and add those who have asked later on in the project.

I'm loving the mace, btw. I'm a big fan of dark-age/medieval weapon analogs for the BT. While swords are great, A wholesome sprinkling of a variety Techified close combat weapons really adds to the crusader ambiance, imho.

I'm not too keen on straight-up-transplanted WHFB weapons, as they are primitive wood-hafted weapons unfit for the Emperor's elites.

But a powermace or chainaxe, for example, are indeed glorious vessels of retribution ;)

The power flail I was going to make would of been a axe handle or something with a wire threaded through hobby chain and on the end (say 2-3 heads) I was going to use the mace balls from the chaos defiler.

@Templar14, I do try to add the odd giant mace in my army. You'll see more of that when I get around to the terminators in my army on my army revival thread in the wip section.

Is there any chance you could add me in as a Sword Brethren, Power Sword and Shield??? If not it's cool.

 

My 2 favorites are the handsome dude with the mirror, and that EC looking like he is going to fly in and slice your body in 2 is pure and utter epic. Great conversions, do you plan on painting all of these?

Also I sympathise with lamp theft, my mother recently found mine to be quite handy with her own crafting...and pinches it with increasingly freqeunt regularity.

 

I wasn't going to do a wire with my chain I think, I was reckoning on 'indivudual power source' in the ball. I like the idea around the defilers ccw.

I too sadly missed this thread. I know I am too late, but if you ever decide to take on more BT members I will be happy if you added me on as a Initiate with powersword and a shield(or bolter). If you do not take on more members I completely understand.

@Trignama. I'm keeping a list of those that arent on the 1st page. Once I get more done I will probably make a handful more. And yes, I fully intend on painting all of them to my full painting skill level.

 

@Roesor. I ment that the wire would be there purely to give the chain strength. As while glueing the hobby chain stiffens it, the links tend to come loose/break easily.
