Greetings fellow adepts, In my introduction thread I mentioned about starting a skitarii squad.

Not too long ago I got my order from miniwargaming, and work began.

This squad of skitarrii will be converted and kitbashed a little, but it'll mostly be greenstuff and plasticard.

In light of GW's price increase, I made a GS mold of the cadian torso for conversion purposes

I was tossing around the idea of making an entire admech army, but I am unsure as to what codex to use.

My buddy Tarvik was suggesting I go with chaos space marines, for the obliterators and bikes, but I am still unsure; any suggestions?

Nice work so far, you might have seen my thread for my Ad-Mech army in this forum.

 

Like what you've done so far, I'm going to be using the Grey Knights codex to run my list,, but I've seen people use Chaos, Guard and even Tau. So take your pick! :D

I was first thinking of guard really, but It felt to squishy for to me, even if I went with vet squads with carapace armor.

Tau seems pretty clever, I'll take a look into that.

Out of interest, have you painted any yet?

Not yet, still working on the first guy. But once he's done, I'll paint him up for you.

 

I'm thinking of removing the magazine on his lasgun, replacing it with some guitar string that leads to some kind of power-pack, which would be mounted on his belt, behind him. I also got some suggestions from others about sculpting some purity seals and scripture pages, or other motifs.

Those are coming along nicely! Really like the cog pattern you've done in white on their robes, I might have to 'borrow' that! :jaw:
