Modern military's have for some time been able to plant sensors by air insertion on the battlefield. How about a RW/LS deploy-able teliport homer/beacon. As the RW Landspeeders traverse the table top they can seed the ground with multiple homer/beacon's for future use. Or maybe remote Auspix units that gives a +1 to BS or re-role to hit for units in range? Fits into the firepower theme. Just an idea that poped up from my DA brain. Not going to stop now, no intention to de-rail this thread, but I have to flesh out this idea. Remote Teliport homer/beacon allows DW to Gate around the battlefield as they are needed. Remote Auspix; Any opposing unit within X inches/cm of the implanted sensor will be able to be fired on by DA units in range. Confers; +1 BS, Ignores cover, 1D6 scatter. Direct fire weapons, eg, Bolters, HB's, LC's, Krak Missiles, etc, get +1 BS, Ignores cover. Template Weapons, eg, PC's, WW Launcher, Frag Missiles, OB's, etc, get +1 BS, 1D6 scatter. Just an idea...
