I already have an Aximand model floating around somewhere with at least 5 other bolter brothers that I cannot find for the life of me :) And I have not even showed of the Abaddon and Retinue I made last year. esinhorn Posted July 18, 2011 Author Share Posted July 18, 2011 I'm a throw the baby out with the bathwater kind of guy. Seriously though the bulk of the old army is made with Red Scorp upgrades. I tend to be a detail snob so when the proper models with the correct legs came out I cannot look at the old ones without being annoyed. I started with the new squad painting the old way when I got much better colors from Apologist over at TGC. I figured with the 5 new ones I had enough models and tanks to sell as an army then rebuy all new stuff. Selling the Land Raider hurts but I fell that is probally one of the biggest selling points,besides I want old school RT Land Raiders for them. I just bought one so It should be fun to refurbish it and I had a resin upgrade for a PH rhino conversion that is out of this world. To bad there are no more,I may just have to cast it,but that is a $30 pain in the ass I found out in the next year or two FW is probally going to make old school Space Marine vehicles so I am not going to go hog wild on them.
