Thanks Brothers :D

I am working on the first of my Vindicators at the moment but I did get sidetracked last night painting the 2 plasma turrets (pictures on Fri).

Once the 3 Vindies are done to basic level I will be trying to combine them together as a unit using some good old DA Iconography and bling. This may take a few weeks so be patient.

Patience and hard work is what it's all about aye mate, that and having a kick ass set of war dolls at the end (where-ever that is ;) )

s

Amazing work as always. I think it's time for a reaver titan. It's the only thing which will outshine a certain someone's thunderhawk.

Reaver titan!!!

Was thinking about a Warhound at one point but could not justify it at the time - The Tau in me still wants a Manta though but you need a massive table to play it on and the income of a small country to buy it

Here is the progress on the first Vindicator and the 2 plasma turrets I was side tracked with on mon and tue.

They are marked with a 6 and a 9 as this will also be the numbers of 2 of the 3 Vindies (6,9 and 10) to match up with the 3 last troop transports I need for the 4th Company. All my vehicles are transformers

Edit: Photos deleted and replaced with new photos in later post ;)

Not from Lego - no :(

but my youngest did build a Warhound titan out of lego which worked quite well ;)

The turrets are from Kromlech

I still have to find the camera so I will prob. have to buy a new one - when I do I will upload photos where you will be able to actually work out what you are looking at ;)

Transformers Rule...

The current vehicle state is (bought as kits)

3x Vindicators

1x Whirlwind

1x Predator

1x Rhino

2x Razorbacks

but thanks to magnets (and me being tight with my hard earned beer tokens) they are fully interchangeable so I can play...

8 Rhinos

6 Rhinos, 2 Razorbacks (4th Company Transports covered)

3 Vindicators, 3 Predators (using the Plasma turrets), 1 whirlwind and either a Rhino or Razorback - For the Armoury

or various mixtures - you can see where the options just keep going.....

The future plan is to get sprues to increase the Razorbacks or some of the turrets from Here

Got a new camera :tu:

Here are the new photos....

:tu:

When this one is completed (still the weathering to do) the plan is to do the other 2 Vindies...

Hard to explain but the plan is to continue the DA icon over the two other Siege Sheilds to tie them together as a line breaker Sqn (it will look better as a photo but I am working on 4 to 6 weeks for completion of this project.

Edit - forgot to mention that I will be doing a tutorial with the next one so all my Battle Brothers can have a go too :P

If I'm understanding your concept correctly, it is going to be epic. And if I'm not, I'm sure it will be epic... in a different way. Always inspiring stuff, brother.

I hope it will be :)

Especially now I have tied myself into a time scale with the new vows on my Path to Redemption.

Elmo, fantastic work in the transforming Vindicutioner. I am worried about your liberal cross-universe name usage though giving the devs at GW thoughts on seriously considering Tamwulf's giant mechanical lion to combining Voltron idea. Then again, I am disappointed you didn't make an Vindicatus Prime. :o

Seriously though, great work on all your stuff. That siege shield is awesome work and surely the continuation will look great on either end siege shield as well. Fantastic magnetry also!

Thanks Bryan - I'll magnetise 'em, you paint 'em :(

Weathered the Vindi last night - nearly broke down when the mud went on the Siege shield ;) but it looks ok now - pictures on Fri as my usual schedule.

Just a couple of cupolas to do tonight and I will be starting the magnetisation of the next 2 vindies.

Never a slow moment at my painting corner ;)

B)

You don't want me painting them if you'd like to use them in your army this century. :D Besides, you obviously have quite a bit of skill to have those large painted icons across multiple model parts or models. Plus you have a company of Marines painted. I have a squad, one Terminator and part of a Dreadnought. And your stuff is nice and clean (even though it uses red weapon casings). I think you're ahead in the long run. ;)

Well done Elmo! I can't wait to see the winged sword motif span across two other Vindis.

I dub thee Master of Magnets.

I'm sure it looks great - tanks to get dirty after all.... Maybe you should add a little servitor with a water tank, spigot and squeegee arm to follow them around. +1 to front armor for cleanliness.

Snip....

Cheers EPK - Is that an official title??

The other idea would be a new piece of scenery - the "drive through tank wash" with bikini clad SoBs sponging the Chapters vehicles down with the RW trying to chat them up :D

Bryan - you might be a slow painter but the things you produce put mine to shame :)

Quality trumps quantity anyday B)

PS - (DARK) red casings are the way forward.....
