Clever Girl... - Wink Wink, Nudge Nudge

Greyall

Recommended Posts

As a Tyranid fan, I'm not disappointed and as I'm an ultramarine at heart said Tyranids are usually strapped to my power armour - because we're in a PA forum <_<

Good to see we can keep tabs on your other projects, but looking forward to more chaos demons or power armour work soon!

Loyalists FTW! And that horrible thing which must not be discussed is looking awesome. Again with the reimagining.

Hmmm what else can we harangue this Portuguese savant of pen and ink into reimagining?

What's something that looks a bit stupid but deserves to look awesome? Hmmmm.

Seriously, I'd hate to have to crusade on such a talented artist jsut because he strayed from the awesomeness of proper, loyalist astartes.

Despite this originally being an are thread for Chaos Raptors :P

Come forth the followers of Chaos and defend the mighty Greyall from the filthy lapdogs so that he might continue to further the Glory that is Chaos!

Side note, that filthy xenos turned out rather well :)

I just went through your thread and it took me an hour...all of your stuff is amazing, and I'm more then impressed with it, now I want to aspire to drawing and eventually even make models in favour of your drawings. This is simply amazing, keep up the good work, can't wait to see what is next!

Thanks, brothers =)

I'm actually fighting in two fronts, at the moment, an Eldar character and a Black Templar, though the latter is a more ambitious drawing.

By the way, it's great that this thread's still up, I find it fun to look for a "Clever Girl" every time I want to post something new or read your feedback.

Cheers, mates, will try to be as brief as possible.

Ill defend the mighty Greyall from the loyalist! -i dawn my Iron Warrior power armor and stands with Kol_Saresk- Also Greyall, I have a picture of my chapter master though its not by your pic and ill post it to show you where i went with it.

On Signus, while Sanguinius lay in the ground with his legs shattered and at the mercy of Ka'Bhanda, Givon Furiosangr was on the other side of the battleline, crushing a Slaaneshi beast's skull. Later, when the Angel recovered and brought the fight to the Bloodthirster's cathedral, the Company Champion of the 8th Company was about to turn on his brethren.

On Terra, while the Angel was being throttled by Horus, Furiosangr was defending one of the Palace's entrances against the Iron Warriors, despite his pleas to accompany the Primarch.

It is no wonder, than, that the man that came out of the Horus Heresy was vastly different from the humble, down-to-earth and good-humoured warrior who had served in the Blood Angels for nearly four centuries.

Darkening his armour and donning a tabard, Givon became a crusader, often being called the Vermillion Templar. Now shunning the company of most of his brethren, he fought with the cold rage of one who knows no amount of traitor dead can ease his own sense of failure for never being there to help his father.

As such, and though it was Givon's chainaxe, Tyrannus, that spelled the doom for thousands of heretics, it was the Angel's shield, The Wall of Sorrow, that became a relic for the Sons of Sanguinius. As detailed as a painting on the halls of the Legion's cathedral, the great shield depicts Furiosangr's view of the Blood Angels' responsibility for the death of their lord. Though the artificers of Baal claim no responsibility on it, the shield seems to exhude an aura of sorrow and despair.

So glad to be back to Power Armour. This is, so to speak, 'my own Space Marine'. At first it was going to be a Black Templar, but then I figured I felt closer to the Blood Angels with their dual nature.

I'll be finishing my Eldar next. Cheers, brothers.

I love this new picture. Givon is pure awesome in his fluff, you've made, and the artistic creativity you have brought him to life in this scene showing his vows of vengeance. As always Greyall you never cease to amaze us.

Well kids you've heard of a sucking chest wound, now witness the leaking skull wound. Filthy heretics deserve no better.

Perspective looks bang-on. Subject matter is unadulterated bona-fide top-shelf export-quality Grimdark, carefully and sharply rendered.

Also, how the dickens did you get that shield* to not be over-busy? There is so much on it, but everything is in its place.

*henceforth known as 'OMG dat shield!'

OMG DAT SHIELD!

Ahem. Very nice piece of work, very crisp and clean and as many have already mirrored - some incredible writing going on too! Another knotch on the awesome tally!

I look forward to more of your work :)
