Generic WIP DIY codex topic title

Long time lurker, first time poster. My DIY is in it's early stages, wanted to get C&C started early. No IA ready for posting yet.

 

First up is a leader for my chapter. Premise is he's seen his chapter decimated once, spent a fair share of time working with other imperial forces (primarily AdMech and =I=) trying to rebuild his chapter. Very shooty,

 

Statline: Same as vanilla captain.

Any veteran may:

  1. May replace boltgun with:
    • Flamer, meltagun, or missile launcher for 5pts

[*]May take melta-bombs for 5pts

 

 

Lastly, some Apoth ICs, ala C:BA.

 

Statline: same as apoth in standard Command Squad.

Let me start by saying these rules aren't too bad from both a fluff point of view and rules wise. Just a few things, mainly about your Captain. I would recommend against Titanic Might and Salamanders Chapter Tactics. Titanic Might has always been Calgars rule and is way too powerful to be given to a HR character, especially combined with the Master Crafted Relic Blade he gets from the Chapter Tactics. Salamanders Chapter Tactics is also massively powerful, and seen as OTT compared to other Chapter Tactics, so I wouldn't EEC omens giving him that, unless you give him a toned down version.
