Chimera turret on a Land Raider

For the pintle mounted storm bolter, I was thinking of putting a Chimera heavy bolter turret in the slot.

 

I want it to resemble the commander's cupola turret on the M3 Lee from WW2.

 

My question is has anyone done this? Does it look too big, or not fit? A Pred turret I know is too big, so I don't want to use that.

I think it looks great. You might have an issue with the turret rings as they are quite a bit different, but I think it looks pretty great. I would use a Marine hatch on top of the turret (to reinforce that it is a Marine vehicle, and not just a bit borrowed from the IG) and convert the weapon to be a Storm Bolter (or perhaps convert the Chimera Heavy Flamer into a Multi-Melta).

Alternatively you could replace the HB on the recessed bay with the turret HB and pintle SB, and then you have a nice empty space to add accotrements like sensors, cameras and maybe a vox caster
