Assualt on Blackreach sprues ?

Hi

 

New/old player.

 

Poked around a bit, and checked out some searchs, but haven't seen an answer for this.

 

Are all the terminators in the assault on blackreach box set stuck with storm bolters, or do they get some heavy weapon options?

 

How about the tacticals, what options do they have?

The Terminators are all powerfist/stormbolter, except the sergeant who has sword/stormbolter. No heavies. The arms are 100% compatible with the standard box sets though, so if you bitz order heavy weapons arms and shoulder pads they'll mesh just fine.

 

The Tactical Marines come with a missile launcher and a flamer. The sergeant is armed with a bolt pistol (holstered) and chainsword.

Seconding what Shiny's already said bud, the terminators are easy eneough to kit out with assault cannons and heavy flamers aswell as cmls. same goes with assault weapons aswell. as for the tacs the static pose isnt great but mixing them in a squad of possed tacs and they fit fine enough. But one of the best things about the AOBR set is the dreadnough the only way to get a dread multimelta without buying from forgeworld lol

The tacticals aren't that hard to convert. Here are some stuff I did:

(Hint: Head, weapon and backpack swaps, shoulderpad/kneepad filing)

I also hacked the sergeant up quite a bit, magnetized. He can be fielded with: Bolt Pistol, Plasma Pistol, Combi-Plasma, Combi-Melta, Chainsword or Power Fist.
