j-paint
Hey there guys, This is my first post here, but i couldn't think of a better place to put this log, you guys do after all have a dedicated subforum. =] Ive really wanted to do a AM army for a bit now, and have finally taken the plunge. I want to really capture the gritty wiring and cables look, the whole bionics/doc ock/sentinel from the matrix is just such an amazing chance for conversions. For my basic skitarii, i wanted to base them off the DKOK grenadiers, I tried a couple of test models and the results were good i thought, as you can see, http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac311/j-paint/P1060617_crop_crop.jpg http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac311/j-paint/P1060616_crop.jpg However i really wanted to make them even more special, so have had another go, the second, and current attempt looks like this, which do you guys prefer? http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac311/j-paint/P1060860_crop.jpg http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac311/j-paint/P1060861_crop.jpg http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac311/j-paint/P1060858_crop.jpg when he gets his paint refreshed i'm going to give him much more extremely highlighed red clothes, the aim is sorta a rich baroque effect with the rest of the model kept quite dull apart from a bright green accent, let me know what you reckon. Olis
Hail and welcome to B&C, brother! I like them both and the red is nice and deep (reminds me of John Blanche's painted models). Can you get a picture up of the second one fully painted?
