EDIT: IN JUST TWO WEEKS, WE ARE PROUD TO SAY THAT THE TOURNAMENT IS COMPLETELY SOLD OUT!! WE WILL STILL BE TAKING A FEW MORE PEOPLE IN CASE WE HAVE ANY NO-SHOWS. THESE SPOTS WILL BE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.

 

 

Space Marines, prepare for battle!

 

It's that time of year again when armies clash over the rivers and fields of battle in Murfreesboro, TN! The 5th Annual Battle for Stones River is now open for registration! This year we have moved to a bigger venue and increased the number of participants from 50 to 70. Last year the event sold out in a month, so be sure to register early. This year we are also on the Games Workshop Tournament Circuit. The first place winner from the event will receive a free ticket to the North American Throne of Skulls Championship in October 2013. Tournament Date: February 25, 2012; check-in begins at 8:30am CST

Points Level: 1863 (The year of the Battle of Stones River during the American Civil War)

Rounds: 4, with a 2 hour time limit per game

Location: Lane Agri-Park Community Center, Murfreesboro, TN

Number of Players: 70 players max (to date 27 spots have already been filled!)

Entry Fee: $30 entry fee; lunch is included!

The actual Battle for Stones River site is only a few miles away from where the event will be held. It's well worth the short drive over there!
