Marshal Reinhard
How about having the gate with the 4 heavy flamers having a bit of scorch marks on it? Then again, they might not ever had a chance to fire, since that'd imply an enemy got close enough in the first place Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/245861-imperial-space-marine-outpost/page/4/#findComment-3082504 Share on other sites
Brother Morgan
How about having the gate with the 4 heavy flamers having a bit of scorch marks on it? Then again, they might not ever had a chance to fire, since that'd imply an enemy got close enough in the first place That's a cool idea to have scorch marks on the blast doors, but I have finally finished this project and do not want to do anything else to it. Last few shots: http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030679.jpg I've added a Heavy flamer turret with smoke launchers to further deter visitors from coming close to the escape hatch and sewage pipe. You can also see 1 of the 6 Heavy Bolters I have added around the perimeter to allow sentries a bit more fire power if they are out in the open when an attacker comes. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030674.jpg This shows a close up of a spotlight and a pintle mounted Heavy Bolter at the front of the outpost and a sentry making his rounds. I also include a few shots of some painted marines and vehicles to show the scale of the outpost: http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030673.jpg "Please come and attack us!!" http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030680.jpg "ahhhhhh, We are Space Marines!!!!!!!" http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030678.jpg Razorback returning from patrol. One more sweep before going through the as yet, still closed blast doors. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030677.jpg As the Razorback is finishing their sweep, a Land Speeder is about to set off on patrol. The Missile Launcher silo is also used as Landing Site as well. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030675.jpg "All quiet on this front!" http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/philmorgan75/P1030676.jpg If you get through the 50 Heavy Bolters, 6 Heavy Plasma Guns, 2 Redemption Heavy Flamers, 6 Grenade Launchers, 12 Lascannons, 8 Autocannons, 10 Multi Meltas, 2 Battle Cannons, 2 Twin Hurricane Bolters, 7 Heavy Flamers, 2 Flamers, 1 Baal Flamer turret, 8 Assault Cannons, 2 missile launchers, 94 Grag Grenade mines, 7 Missiles in the silo and 1 Heavy Defense Laser you then have this angry marine to deal with! It's been a fun but also hard 6 months to build this project. Time for something different to keep me sane. I plan on building a 10cm Space Marine similar to the GD2010 figure (the one running and armed with a double handed weapon). After that, I'll come back to making my version of the Fortress of Redemption. Till next time, Brother Morgan out! Imperial Deceit
A most Impressive build. Good luck with your 10mm marines, I can't wait to see your next project though.
