Ch@oZ
I'm loving the progress so far- it's getting more amazing with each new post. I don't want to be annoying but would You be so kind and link the tutorial for the thunderwolves? I've been googling around looking for it but have only found horse-shaped thunderwolf mounts, which was quite a disappointment. Sh0sen
I stole the Thunderwolf/Mournfang idea from this thread. Of all the versions Ive seen so far these are the best. http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...howtopic=239052 As for the Fenrisian Wolves, here is the tutorial. NightHunters
I like where you are going with these, nice reference picture, I now see that barding would be totes inappropriate :P interestingly the Germans even tried out camouflage paint for horses..... although you may draw the line there! Loving the new frost blade, looks perfect, and the cloak is spot on. And lastly, are those dark elf lances? Still loving this thread mate, looking forward to the next update! Sh0sen
 interestingly the Germans even tried out camouflage paint for horses..... I didn't know that! But yeah, that may be too far for me :D Thanks  And yep, they are the old Dark Elf Cold One lances, from way back when I was attempting to put scouts onto cold ones for "counts as" bikes. That idea didn't get very far. Fast forward a few years and the inclusion of TWC in the then new C:SW had me digging for these lances in my bits box! Lachdannan
Wow, I've missed out on a lot of updates! Glad to see this army again. Loved the Long Fangs, scouts and wolves. The terrain in particular is breathtaking. Really impressive, and I may very well steal a few ideas. The Thunderwolves are shaping up well. Great stuff. Sh0sen
Steal away! Just make sure you post what you build  Tidied up Hedi's cloak and finished magnetizing his right arm. I also attached the reins and mouth bits to the beasts. Took some fiddling and a couple of failed ideas but I'm happy with them now. http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg178/ulik0/20121210-DSC_0141.jpg http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg178/ulik0/20121210-DSC_0140.jpg http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg178/ulik0/20121210-DSC_0139.jpg http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg178/ulik0/20121210-DSC_0144.jpg http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg178/ulik0/20121210-DSC_0148.jpg Once I've got some more green stuff I can start working on their baggage and finish their bases. I've used up most of my supply on these guys... NightHunters
Biohazard is right on the money, great little detail! Also a fan of those reins, realistic and functional! Biohazard
I just love how natural the movement of the model is, its a detail thats not instantly noticeable. Thats the sign of a great modeller. Also looking forward to your take on the saddle bags/equipment Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/245890-sons-of-the-emperor/page/6/#findComment-3259915 Share on other sites
