Is there a color in a different line thats close? Could I get the same effect by adding some black to a pot of boltgun metal? Anyways, here's a suggestion: http://www.testors.com/category/136648/Acrylic_Paints Check out Braunviollet 81, Engine Grey, and German Grey and tell me if any of those are close. If you're looking for a metallic paint then using black with boltgun metal will indeed get you the desired effect. If you don't want metalic paint (NMM or matte coloration) then either look to the Testors Acrylic line, or my personal favorite: Vallejo. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
