A little progress:

I haven't been able to find anything about gorechild having two lines of teeth. Even with the size of my version two lines of teeth would have been hard to fit.

Cheers.

Just seen this. Really great work, you've done a fantastic job of scaling him up.

Some of the highest praise, you were one of the early pioneers on Tru-scaling that got me interested in it, so it means a lot.

The armour is essentially done. I'll do some finally hi-lights once the rest of the model is finished. The style is a bit different but I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Here is a shot of the progress on the legs to give an idea of the layering:

Wow.

Wow.

Wow.

Did I say wow?

I love the pose, I'm imagining the finished model having a spray of gore arcing from Gorechild. Whirr, Crunch, Splatter.

Quick question, I've always wondered how to use chain like this, do you use super glue to stiffen it or some other trick?

Sceadwe: I use superglue to harden the chain. You loose some degree of detail, but it dries quick and lets you arrange the chain how you want it without too much trouble.

Batu: The armor is a combination of Khaki, Gryphonne Sepia wash and white in various layers

Current progress:

Still have to paint Gorechild, finish the vent on the chest and a few other little details. Then figure out what I'm going to do about weathering/battle damage and a base.

Cheers

I know its probably a bit to late to mention this but his arm seems to be to long. shortening it a little at the forearm would make the arm look more natural instead of a gorilla arm.

"sorry aboutthe triple post, internet is sluggish today. :(

I started a new project now that Khârn is nearing completion. I'm trying to base it size wise off the Khârn I've built.

I'm putting him on the shelf for now. I've never been great at freehand and I always worry I'll over do something and ruin a good paintjob. Here's a couple shots as he'll stand for now:
