Pbenner
As I didn't join B&C until after the initial offer was made I missed out on this. Two questions: Are there left-overs? Can I buy them? There are Extras, but I have a pretty long list of people wanting them. I will put you on it and if there are any after everyone else is contacted I will let you know. The Wolfmeister
Are you planning on doing any other chapter's dice? I wouldn't mind some Crimson Fist, Black Templar and Space Wolf dice. AngelVeto
Not sure if my previous post of interest counted as actually getting me on the "left over list" so I will make another one, stating that I would love to get my hands on them. Polythemus
I think that I'd be interested in any left overs. Let me know what your pricing them at. Komodo
If it's possible I want 1 green dice from leftovers. Unfortunately, I somehow managed to loose one during my first gaming session with them  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248577-da-dice-commitment-time/page/20/#findComment-3247078 Share on other sites
ValourousHeart
Sorry to hear that Komodo, that is one of the things I am most paranoid about. I stack them back up at the end of each turn so that I know I have them all. Pbenner
Damn Komodo, sorry to hear that. Hopefully they are unique enough that someone notices the "odd" dice in their pile and returns it. I couldn't imagine paying that much shipping for a single die... I know for a fact that all the extras will be gone. The "extras" were just rounded out numbers that I purchased in order to make sure that if I had any come out bad I could make sure everyone got them. There are only going to be 100-150 of each as "extras" and I've got a list of about 12-15 people now. Polythemus
Paul, Following this thread every now and again, its clear to me that this is a major undertaking, and by the sounds of it you are kind of burnt out by it. It might be good to have a new order done and perhaps done by someone new, but if you'd allow it maybe we could build from the good work you've laid down thus far. I'd be willing to talk to you about just such a venture. PM me if your interested and we will see what can happen. Pbenner
12 to 15 people extra.... looks like the original order could have held off and got more orders for people ..... -_- oh well....next time Mithril Mithril, Those people have spoken up over the course of 6 months since the original start of this thread. Interest was gauged for 30-45 days and then the real work started. 2-3 people a month on top of the original takers were not enough to hold up everyone else from getting there. Polythemus, Now that I've done it once, and I've gotten all the kinks worked out it wouldn't be so bad to do it again. I just want to get this fully finished and make sure I finish on my original commitment before moving onto another round of dice. I would still like to look at doing a round of dice for my GK and Crimson Fists as well. My only *major* issue is getting to the Post Office anymore. I start work at 6:30AM and am not back home until after 5:30pm so the only day I can make it down there is Saturday. Once this is done, I will be looking into gauging interest for a second round. I've already started taking notes to smooth out the process. Once I do this, it'll be much easier as it will all be copy paste (since I know what goes on the forms) and all that jazz. If you wanted to take over that initiative, I'm more than happy to discuss with you, but I wouldn't be opposed to doing it again. Best, Paul Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248577-da-dice-commitment-time/page/20/#findComment-3247530 Share on other sites
MithrilForge
@ PBenner - not taking a swipe at you(great effort in doing that) just saying things like these dice orders need to to float for a long while so you can get the best dice for your buck$. for example see "Evicerators" work over in the Blood angels forum,he got mega amounts of dice orders and got em out in record time (you guys should team up with him on your next order so peeps wont wait months for dice) Mithril Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248577-da-dice-commitment-time/page/20/#findComment-3247567 Share on other sites

This was posted for quite a while before it went through. Months, as I recall. First gauging interest then a long time for people to "commit" to the group order. If you missed it, that stinks and I'm sorry. It is not, however, our helpful compatriot's fault. I'm very pleased with the process and the work that Paul put in to this side project. If you aren't, being rude probably isn't necessary. Brother Kovash
Quick note, I've played 4 games with my new Deathwing dice, and have yet to lose a game. In fact, the last game I played with the dice I did not lose a single unit, and only lost 5 models total out of 32. Thanks again Brother Paul, you've lead me on a grand crusade! Pbenner
Good to hear. Glad to hear they are doing well. In my limited experience as well as everyone elses, they're quite lucky. I can't wait to get them back into action coming up. Hopefully in the near future I can get back on my painting projects. I still have (5) Land Raiders of various patterns as well as Terminators that need painted... Belial212
Can't wait to put those dice into action for myself! Pbenner
It depends on when I get back Saturday. I have to take my son back to his Mom's house. If I get back at a reasonable hour on Friday night, yes, if I'm not back until 4-5AM, then it's not going to be likely. They'll go out the weekend after without a doubt though (Provided that you've sent me your phone number - Which you have, Belial212 [i'll get your other thing in the box as well]) Paul Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248577-da-dice-commitment-time/page/20/#findComment-3249713 Share on other sites
Belial212
Hey Paul, Any news? Did the dice go out for the last of us on the International side? Pbenner
They didn't go out last weekend, didn't get back till stupid early in the AM and slept right through my Alarm to try to work on them Saturday Morning. The customs form part of the USPS website hasn't been working right all week. Basically once I select a country it hangs and I can't input any of the package information. They're ready to go, but again, the USPS website is killing me. Will keep trying. Cypher 102
Things might run smoother in the future if you got some volunteers to be distributors in other countries. Would result in you only having to make one international shipment per country or region.
