Aqui Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 As GC has said, very clean paint job ^_^ Over the years, I've seen Ultra's painted in nearly every shade of Blue imaginable, but that colour is how I "perceive" them ^_^ One of the days, I'll be able to do highlights to that consistency. Pray tell how did you do the blue? Basecoat is a 50:50 mixture of Chaos black and regal blue Armor color is a 50:50 mixture of regal blue and ultramarines blue First highlight with pure ultramarine blue (thinned down with water) second highlight is a 50:50 mixture of ultramarines blue and space wolves grey The result is a "flowing" color progress: chaos black<-> regal blue -> regal blue<->ultramarines blue->ultramarines blues->ultramarines blue<->space wovles grey.
