Volfen
Superb work ! Love the aesthetic, love the craftsmanship, love the execution! Looks like it belongs in the same army as the Landraider  And let me chime in on begging for plans/tutorial; I want to make my own :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/250018-clouseau-rhino-project/page/3/#findComment-3140394 Share on other sites
Subtle Discord
Awesome to see this project come together. I'm glad the casting went well, and once you get a Pressure Chamber the details and rivets will get even better. No pressure, but it'll be great to see it with paint. araekyus
Looks great I need ten  hmm. let me get the rest of my equipment and we shall see;) is it possible to get hold of one of these mate? they are a great model pal heh thanks. i do want to get these in the hands of interested folk, but i need to acquire the gear needed to make them 99-100% bubble free. I will let you know when im ready for that. hopefully soon Very awesome work! Also on a side note, I don't live very far from you. DO you ever game in Dekalb every once in a while?? I actually haven't ventured out of my home to push around minis and roll dice in a very long time. (rpgs aside: have wide eyed and eager brother in laws for that heh) would love to get a game in soon, however. Now if i would just get the rest of my army painted.... Superb work ! Love the aesthetic, love the craftsmanship, love the execution! Looks like it belongs in the same army as the Landraider :) And let me chime in on begging for plans/tutorial; I want to make my own :) Thanks for the praise:) As for the plans/ tut part...well... i mentioned earlier that doing that may destroy my prototype, which im hesitant to do. but ill give it more thought. Awesome to see this project come together. I'm glad the casting went well, and once you get a Pressure Chamber the details and rivets will get even better. No pressure, but it'll be great to see it with paint. Thanks:) Primer will come soon on this cast here as it is being sent along with a second hand poured one to a friend. The chamber and pump are on the 'must get now before other 40k items' list. Working out the budget with the wifey for those items has been humorous to say the least :P And once i get those items and get setup correctly i can try to step up and get to the excellence of you creations:) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/250018-clouseau-rhino-project/page/3/#findComment-3141171 Share on other sites

araekyus
Ok, it has been a while since my last update. After I completed the first three casts, they have since been sent off to their new home in the cold frozen north (Maine) to a very happy friend. Then i cast another one for myself and my Brotherhood. Only primer coat at this stage. A tad on the dark side right now, but they will be getting a blast of AP Uniform Grey over the Duplicolor Hot Rod Grey. Chapter badges are custom brass etch, and detailed with some purity seals, a vehicle banner and a small shoulder pad shield from a Grey Knights sprue. Turrets are in the works, all will be magnetized. As always, C&C welcome! Enjoy! Lykos
That looks great. I think the more I look at it the more I like it over the standard rhino. Do you have any intentions of building variants like the whirlwind, predator and the razorback? araekyus
A bit of an update of sorts. Got the final primer coat down as well as the turrets pieces on and magnetized. Work has slowed down due to unrelated issues that need sorting out, but I will be back on the ball as soon as I am able. My blog has been updated with these as well. Here are the pics. Enjoy!
