Etzchayim's Reproduction of Ultramarine 2nd Company WIP

Definitely a thread worth following. As everyone else has said, that perching Shrike is excellent. There's a lot of power and authority in that pose, which you don't always get from jump pack commanders.

Thank you for all intrest and kindness! Everyone love the Shrike :P But, still he is not Ultramarine...(it is very sad to me, lol)

Sorry for disappointed you, but I'm just started Ultramrine so I don't have painted model too much... (is that correct i say? :P )

But, I have small Scout squad - It is just colour test model for Ultramarine.

Greeting! Today, I bring the frist 'full squad' image.

Ultramarine's 2nd Company's first squad 'The Indomitable' is fought alongside Sicarius in Fall of Damnos. They are most exprienced of the 2nd Company Tactical squad, and Chaplain Trajan's Honour guard.

And they received Victorex Maxima honours during the retaking of Fort Telrendar, where they were first into breach after Captain Sicarius.

 

Maybe you remeber my Chaplain. He is very aggresive and dynamic pose. "The Indomitable" is he's Honour Guad. So, I want to look this squad breach in Necron's line(Yes, Assault!!)

Ah, I almost forgot. These guy's bolter is painting seperately(and conversion too - they bolter is mixing old version and new version...)

These guys look awesome, I really like the idea behind this project. Love your attention to detail. Perhaps you should cut off the skull from the side of that heavy bolter and replace it with an Ultramarines symbol?

This is an amazing thread. Projects like this and all the crazy good detail work are what makes me not really care that the Ultras got so much face time in the codex; there have been some gorgeous armies coming out of what was printed. This is one of those armies. Incredibly well done, frater! And don't work about your English. I know for a fact that it is better than my Korean! :D

wow, your indomitable squad has so much detail! and the movement in the model is really cool too! and i really like the way you painted the skin on the scouts. and just a small mistake for english: " i dont have too many painted models" :)

I'm impressed by the scope of the project - sure people have done companies of space marines before but not a faithful replication of each and every marine from the codex example page. I think the amount of replies indicates that there are a great many members here who would agree - this is one to watch. :tu:

Good day. Today, our country is general election day. yes, very important duty and.... holiday! yeah-

But, our Chapterhousestudio and GW's item is still not recevied... I don't have Mk1 Shoulder pad and new Paint either, so now my work is stuck!

That's very discouraged for me... But that okay. I can overcome. because, Today is holiday! Muhahaha...

 

So, I'll bring another WIP work. yeah, another 'not Ultramarine' work.

He is still need hard work but I can show you secretly. Shrike is my Raven Guard army's HQ, and he is my Space Wolf army's HQ...

Ragnar looks great - the wolf's-head belt buckle you sculpted looks particularly sharp. Fantastic work. One day GW is going to see all the converted Ragnar models that are out there and finally remember that they need to put out a new model for that guy.
