Plague marines made from Dark Vengeance dark angels and green stuff. This was my first ever attempt at green stuffing. Its actually surprisingly easy! I think ill turn the rest into plague marines biggrin.png

ps, the shoulder pad with the face on it looks like a Greek tragedy face rather than a random amorphous blob, the camera angle just killed it.

im probably going to green stuff some guts on the base by the UM, he looks a bit odd like this.

Also painting up that dieing defiant ultramarine trying to kill the maulerfiend with his bolt pistol and last breath kind of makes me want to paint up a squad of them :/

I tried a new painting style. I think I prefer it to the wet inking style I was using before. He is going to form a squad of veterans as Chosen. They have been in loads of battles against every conceivable foe. They are going to be armed with a mix of chaos, grey knight, space wolf, dark angel and blood angel armour plates and weapons. This is to represent them looting the bodies of their enemies for weapons and trophies.

Thanks! I notice that your a fan of the blue on red as well. The colours really should clash, but i think that in that clash they actually go together quite well.

I did try it with purple but it seemed to blend in and I wanted it to stand out, I used the exact tutorial as you and it certainly makes them stand out not he tabletop. I may try the purple hue with my BL dudes although I am planning on using mostly helmeted heads.

Anyways sir, carry on spreading The Word....

If my models are found, I might go for a tarantula hawk color scheme. Blue with rust.
