How to make Scouts look more Ultramarine?

To me there are two ways to do Ultramarines, very standard/codex or add the Roman/Greek bitz to them. Its pretty easy to find examples of Space Marines with the extra bitz added onto them, but I haven't seen any Scouts other than standard scouts with a few bitz swaps that just make the model look more aesthetically pleasing. Other that changing any close combat weapons to gladiuses I can not really think of anything else. Does anyone have suggestions?

i changed my scouts to make them look better, but they dont look anymore 'ultramarine-y'.

Your scouts are the ones that I have seen, space marine bodies and pig iron heads. Or maybe it was someone else using the heads.

It's not a particularly Greco-Roman look, but I've always really like the old school plastic scouts, as seen on the cover of Advanced Space Crusade, as well as here, here, here, here, and a bit converted here. I've got 19 of these bad boys stashed away waiting for a fresh coat of paint, but I've always wanted to make some in this style out of the new plastic scouts too.

If you want to Rome-them up then perhaps GS some new haircuts, or add some legionnaire-like armour. Strips-of-leather loincloths. Look to history for some inspiration.

i plan to "romanise" some scouts to reprisent crusaders for my counts as battle conclave.. ill post pics once they are done (might be a few weeks though)

I can wait a few weeks, I am just in my planning phase and saw I had 2 boxes of the sniper scouts. Other than head swaps I don't have anything for them yet.
