I am trying to step up to the level of quality and originality I see here! Â Congratulations on your vow! (it's good to know I'm not the last one ;)) Lovely models! I really like the power field effect on shields, I'll try to do something like that too I think. Makes them look more special. And the servo-skull manning a search light is very cool! Lastly... Mostly because I painted everything then decided to break down my Templars and resupply my other marine armies so now they're all varying colours of Red, Silver, Purple and Blue. This is doubly distressing as I believe this is my best model and a vast improvement over my other attempts at painting. Eyes were miscast and definitely need more work than I can provide. OSL on the SS and PW are lacking as well. Cant tell from the photos but there is a decent amount of battle damage and blood covering the model.
