Memento Of Prospero
Have you had success with either shoulderpad techniques brother? Taranis
I've been trying your method on two shoulder pads but due to time haven't really got it going . The grooves are made and the next step is priming so the real work/learning/fun still awaits. I've not giving up. Just pressed for time. It's a world epidemic. :( I'll have almost two weeks off during Christmas. Expect some progress/action then. :) And thanks, mate.:tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254529-taraniss-painting-documentation/page/4/#findComment-3534161 Share on other sites

t4play
Looks very good I wouldn't even contemplate doing those pads but I would like an assault squad when someone does ready done pads ;-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/254529-taraniss-painting-documentation/page/4/#findComment-3534720 Share on other sites
Taranis
Things kind of grinder to a halt before Christmas. Haven't done much 40k since. Even stopped visiting the b&c 10 times a day. I hope and expect this to be a turning point, at least on a personal point regarding rekindling my BA/40K passion. Here goes: I, Taranis, answer the challenge of the E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete a Lamenters Epistolary and a Lamenters Captain with dual claws/jumppack from the Blood Angel Codex of a total value of 305 points on or before August 1st. Success will bring even more eternal glory to Sanguinius and the IX Legion, but failure will doom me to clear my signatures and proclaim my failure there until the year-end. And here is the starting point: http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae257/Pendragi/output.jpg For Sanguinius and Big E! Taranis
Vow complete. It's not my best work. I'm having trouble catching my motivation. The claw guy got rather dark with the wadh. I might try and fix it one day. When doing lamenters the checkered shoulder pads are a trademark. These two models I chose had the wrong shoulder blank but without the checkers it would just be a yellow marine. No more talking. Vow complete. http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae257/Pendragi/40k%20art/20140714_055756.jpg http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae257/Pendragi/40k%20art/20140714_055813.jpg http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae257/Pendragi/40k%20art/20140714_055835.jpg http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae257/Pendragi/40k%20art/20140714_055856.jpg For Sanguinius and my brothers.
