march10k Posted March 12, 2013 Share Posted March 12, 2013 Well, so far, I'm impressed with the ravenwing flier...I haven't progressed past the point where the instructions differ (the fuselage and cockpit assemblies are the same on both variants), but the model has been a joy to assemble and paint, thus far. No 1/8" gaps between parts, like on a tau skimmer, the joints are snug. No flash to speak of. very nice details in the cockpit and the engines. October's make up vow will be an Interrogator Chaplain in Terminator Armour. November's make up vow will be a 5-man Assault Squad. And the special task is a Banner Bearer. THIRTY TWO Battle Brothers have now been deemed worthy of the Black Pearl Of these NINE Battle Brothers have been awarded the additional "Veterans of the Path" award within their Black Pearls. Veterans of the Path: This is an accollade given to those battle brothers who began the Path to Redemption in September and unflinchingly completed atleast a single oath for each of the six parts of the Journey. It is a small recognition of their stubbornness and determination to reach the end of the Path! There are those amongst you who have already achieved their minimum 6 white pearls and may think of not completing their final months oaths. You will do well to remember that if you had completed an oath for each ofthe preceding months without fail (redemption oaths not included), then completing the February Oath will place you within an even more elite status amongts those gaining their Black Pearl.
