AGPO
Nice work, they certainly look corrupted without it being over done.
Brother Nihm
Classic and beautiful! :)
Seahawk
Nice work, they certainly look corrupted without it being over done. Thanks, that's what I was shooting for. If it gets too much it simply loses the detail, which is sad. On the other hand, I was worried that they didn't look ploppy enough, but that puts my worry to rest! :P
Oojamaflip
I like these a lot, spot on! This may be a weird bit to pick up on, but I love the brown on the bolters. Can you share the steps? The reddish brown with a sickly grenish highlight looks great
Seahawk
Sure! I wanted to go with a kinda sickly, rotting wood/mutated/etc kinda thing. It's all GW paints. 1. Dark Flesh basecoat 2. Catachan Green drybrush 3. Camo Green highlight 4. Rotting Flesh extreme highlight Plus, with the green it really helps tie in with the rest of the armor and overall look, rather than it looking obtuse by comparison. Seahawk
Yep! She picked the scheme from various old WD's, and I made the magic happen. She definitely likes the results. :D
Kuchinawa
For the wife you say.... Well then! Very ugly and nasty looking! And for nurgle that means a very nice, and well executed painting. They look great! (or is that horrible...never could compliment nurgle correctly)
Somar
very nice, i love the realism over the exaggerated highlights.
peebs
Nice work. You've managed to produce a really crisp paintjob that still looks suitably nurgle-like - quite an achievement!
Seahawk
Haha, thanks! I think that was the idea? Maybe. I know I wasn't going for the Blanchitsu look, though kinda, but not really...blarg!

Seahawk
These look great Seahawk! Could you share the method you used for the armour? I believe it was along the lines of: - Black primer - Dark Flesh - shading - Catachan Green - Camo Green - Rotting Flesh - light drybrush
Prot
Very nicely done. Nice and consistent with a touch of the old school look. Makes me miss mine.... they were a fun army to play.
