Emperor's Furor Posted November 17, 2012 Share Posted November 17, 2012 I'm currently in the process of converting Eikos Lamiad from Know No Fear and I've decided to roughly base an army on him and the force he ended up with prior to hiding in the caves and I was wondering what you thought about it. While kind of theme I also wanted it reflect the organisation of the Ultramarines, so I wanted to try and make use of the Nuncio Voxs which benefits barrage weapons and deep striking and I have included both elements in this list in some shape. HQ Praetor Master crafted Paragon blade, digital laser, Iron Halo - 180 Elite Legion Veteran Tactical Squad Nuncio-vox, legion Vexilla, 5 power swords, artificer armour, melta bombs - 230 Attachment - Apothecary with Augury sensor - 50 Legion Rhino Armoured Carrier Auxilary Drive, Extra Armour - 55 Contemptor Dreadnought Assault Cannon - 190 Legion Raper Weapons Battery Three Laser Destroyer arrays - 165 Troops Legion Tactical Squad Nuncio-Vox, Legion Vexilla, Power fist, Artificer armour - 205 Attachment - Apothecary with Augury sensor - 50 Legion Tactical Squad Nuncio-Vox, Legion Vexilla, Power fist, Artificer armour - 205 Attachment - Apothecary with Augury sensor - 50 Fast Attack Legion Attack Bike Squadron Three Attack Bikes with Multi meltas - 150 Legion Jetbike Sky Hunter Squadron Melta bombs, Multi Melta - 160 Heavy Support Legion Artillery Tank Squadron x2 Medusa - 310 Total -2000 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Atm I have 10 marines done and 5 yet to be put together, I could get more as I want crusade/iron armour models and currently I have mostly Maximus. I may remake the list, to have a more solid core, maybe a full squad of 20 marines and then the second troop choice could be recon squad I guess. Jim AMM realgenius Posted November 26, 2012 Share Posted November 26, 2012 I've really liked the Medusas in the games I've played. Nuncio-vox + BS4 Medusa == dead stuff. I played against dual Heavy Bolter Land Speeders. They are great at mowing down squads; they might be more efficient than your Bikes. I feel like you've got enough anti-tank and that those might be better kitted to take out either light armor or heavy infantry. Maybe make the Attack Bikes Autocannons or the Hunters plasma?
