@venomlust: The blue is one of those things I wasn't sure how people would take, so it's nice to hear that people don't hate it.

@Leviathus: Drust was the last of secessionist chapters I wanted to include in my army and I'm quite happy with how he turned out in the end. Forgeworld's coloured metallics present an interesting challenge. The shields are some of the less "chaosy" shields from the WHFB Marauders. I've got a few laying around that may become cultists and the shields were a much cheaper option than getting combat shields from bit's sites.

Now I'm a little excited for this next bit, because the first of my themed units is nearly complete (and was, until I decided one of them didn't quite fit the rest. So "The Angel" seen earlier has been moved to the second unit). My aim with this unit was to create a band of warriors intent on being the first post-human into the battle. Once the human crew and cultists have soaked up with rounds, these guys barrel in with gun and blade to do the proper work. As such I wanted some momentum in all the models.

Lucien Haban- One of a handful of survivors from 6th Company, he survived Badab and then the years spent adrift in the warp before Bonemaw and his men finally made it to Hell's Iris. Like the other survivors the "Haban" that returned to the Tyrant was no longer an Astral Claw. Warped and twisted by the journey he had made, Haban was a creature of rage and fury. The arrogance of the Astral Claw was gone, refined down to a warriors urge to kill and butcher. A servant of the Blood God, but no Berserker, Haban channels his anger and shepherds his charges forward, always leading from the front.

Lucien Haban was one of the characters I wanted to bring over from my Astral Claws. Formerly a tactical sgt, he can been seen on the first page with his twin blades. I had initially wanted to mirror the poses of the orgininal characters in this project, but quickly realised it was better to simply try and replicate the spirit, rather than stick rigidly to out dated poses. And so we get a Lucien Haban charging headlong at the enemy whilst bellowing orders and insults at his men to keep up with him.
