Tbh the dev squad isent suited for extended combat and id suggest you not equipping the priest for it either ;)

 

Hes just there to provide FnP. Keep him cheap. That said IF you want to give him a power weapon of some kind id suggest poweraxe. Rarely does he hit before HQ's or xenos combat specialists anyway so you want him to have the biggest punch he can get! Also, its AP2 and alot of HQ's nowadays (at least at my local scene) are equipping everything that can take it in 2+ armour saves. If he survives to hit you want it to hurt :P

 

And if your going for termi armour (got one myself, but he accompanies my terminators :P ) bear in mind that you cant sweep after combat. Same comment about the power weapon applies as compared to the power armoured one. Your unlikely to hit first (unless your facing MEQ in a challenge, then pretty much the powersword is all you need) so the poweraxe is the best option (imho offcourse) 5++ together with FnP stop suprinsingly much B)

 

Our termi priests can put up a very decent fight! If your opponent only packs a powersword/maul and nothing AP2 he will delay your opponents champ if you arent terribly unlucky with armour saves.
