Chronotonic
Do you grow weary of having dull pre-primer legionares... Tired of having your primered squad of marines wiped out to the man but you don't know who to send that geneseed home to for future generations... Well I have the solution for you...granted this solution is Dark Angels the first legion those who have no equal and so on and so forth... I can get you a table top ready squad of 10 men in less then 2 hours...that is right 10 Tactical Marines painted and table top in less then TWO HOURS... http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/SaintCapitano/2012-12-12_00-12-30_974.jpg How you ask... Simple... You need Foundation - Knarloc Green...for the base green color Foundation - Dheneb Stone - for the purity seals Foundation - Tallarn Flesh - for the scroll work Foundation - Calthan Brown - bolter straps other cloth material Color - Mithril Silver (any silver will work really...) Color - Blue (for the purity seals, lens, and other stuff... Washes - Brown Washes - Black And this one right here... http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/SaintCapitano/2012-12-12_00-17-09_560.jpg First we need to get those guys primed up...pick up a color and go with it...seeing that I used foundation I don't really need primer... http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/SaintCapitano/2012-12-12_00-13-08_82.jpg Give them about 10 minutes or so to dry...one coat is all I did and they dried up pretty quickly...Good job... Use that green from the picture and put a wash type coat over the marines http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/SaintCapitano/2012-12-12_00-17-24_8.jpg GREAT JOB This is the longest part of waiting...that green wash/paint stuff is great...but takes about 15-25 minutes of dry time so do batches 3-4 men at a time...helps the wait time... Ok now we need to add some details http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/SaintCapitano/2012-12-12_00-28-43_89.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/SaintCapitano/2012-12-12_00-57-48_380.jpg Now after you finish up those details you are done... Add a black wash over the soft armour joints...after you have hit them with a silver... GO YOU...you are finished... however these guys are running with Cypher and some other fallen I need to darker armour SOOOOOO...I hit them with the Black Wash over the entire model http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/SaintCapitano/2012-12-12_01-04-30_305.jpg WOOOO... my_face
i really like the tamiya paints, i guess the other acrylics and enamels like humbrol and revell dont really get a look in, though i use the revell flesh paint.. its pretty good. nice tutorial
