pingo
Hi all! I posted a short tutorial on how I paint gun casings in a quick and easy way. I developed this after getting fed up at line highlighting boltguns as I could never get them quite right. Also, I'm all for quick and easy these days. There's always another project I want to do! Here a link to the tutorial. Here's picture of a finished bolter: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_gOVe4AkhOw/UPSEZKh6BlI/AAAAAAAAAr0/d6Lvz-4b_ts/s1600/2012-12-17+21.45.22.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/269603-simple-boltgun-casings/ Share on other sites

Kierdale
Simple and effective. Good stuff! Recently I've been avoiding using black myself: as you have here I've started using grey with a Nuln Wash. My_Face, I'd say that Nuln Oil (and Agrax Earthshade) are two of the most useful Shades you can get. pingo
well, that probably just shaved 20 minutes off my paint time! thank you! No problem. Any bit of time you can shave off helps getting an army on the table. I really enjoy spending ages painstakingly painting something, but sometimes you just need to get models done and cut out steps you don't really need.
