Lachdannan
Very nice scheme. The green works well for it as well. Bases are a little sparse apart from the heavy weapons. Still, very nice units you have there.
elmo
Thanks guys The bases are fairly plain as these are ttq models and not for display only plus it keeps all my different armies consistant and it matches my gaming table ;) Meat for the Meat God I know what you mean. They tend to die quickly but there are untold billions of them....
MithrilForge
I LOVE the Cammo scheme best scheme Ever !! keep it up (well you gotta anyway as its guard and there's lots of em ) although i'd like to see what the armor would look like in a brown color ..?? Cheers Mithril
elmo
Thanks mithrilforge :) Â Vehicles are still a long way in the future as I must clear out my painting queue first.... Â but the plan at the moment for vehicles is the standard boring Cadian green look but with canvas/equipment in the choco-chip patten to bring the models together. Â The story is that it was such a rush to deploy that there was no time to fully repaint the vehicles and soldiers body armour (a la Gulf War 1). Plus I don't really like the look of desert cam on vehicles ;)
NemFX
I'm liking these, but the green armour does kinda stand out against the desert camo.. Regardless, you have another follower :)
elmo
Thanks NemFX. The green armour is a bit of a GW1 throwback where some troops got the desert clothing issued but still had to use the temperate issue equipment. Plus I think it looks good ;)   Here is my latest offering  http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/081/a/d/company_commander_and_bodyguards_by_elmo9141-d5yv2ko.jpg  http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2013/081/1/3/company_comand_squad_less_commander_by_elmo9141-d5yv2o9.jpg  http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/081/3/2/platoon_command_squad_by_elmo9141-d5yv2tp.jpg  The sniper is my personal favourite :)

Kierdale
I only noticed the sniper's helmet now. I've always liked that helm and wanted to find an infantry use for it. Very nicely done.
HellChyld
very nicely done. any chance of a tut on how you do your camo?
elmo
Sure.  Here is a text tutorial - it will take me a couple of weeks to add photos as I am away from my painting desk at the moment.  Over a matt black spray primer  For the sand: Watered down Vallejo pale sand (enough layers to get decent coverage - it normally takes 3 layers for me.) Devlin mud wash Drybrush Pale Sand  For the chocochips: Watered down Vermin brown in random shapes/positions 2 to 3 small blobs of matt black on the edges of the brown small blob of matt white inside the black blob.  It's fairly simple but time intensive ;)

elmo
Thanks Brothers Unfortunately I have now run out of Cadians so no more of these for a while until I can reduce my painting queue of so many DAs and little blue Xenos. I have got 35 (Mantic) Elysians to do though The Chocochips look a little bit lonely with so little armour so I think that next will be a Lemanruss and/or a couple of Chimeras (next year maybe ;))
elmo
I recently managed to aquire a metal Commissar and a Sniper so without further ado - here they are  http://th06.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2013/144/0/e/imperial_guard_commissar_by_elmo9141-d66eclj.jpg  http://th08.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2013/144/d/3/sniper_in_chocochip_camouflage_by_elmo9141-d66ecf3.jpg  I am a little annoyed by the mold line on the sniper in the bottom right photo - I thought I had got rid of it but hey-hum! Grizzly_bear
I really like these fella, the green looks ok with desert which is weird but it also looks off at the same time....(not putting it down btw) I perovskites would've used a mid tone brown with the desert scheme.
