Cyrox
I just got my hands on Betrayer, and I also have Fear to Tread on my reading list and after seeing a few comments I'm wondering which I should read first? Chronologically, which happens first? I also have Angel Exterminatus to read too Cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270392-betrayer-and-fear-to-tread/ Share on other sites
Billuriye
FT happens after Betrayer. Actually there are serious overlappings but they are not chronologically important. Kol Saresk
Well FtT was published first. Chronologically, Betrayer starts first, but they both probably happen simultaneously. There is every chance I could be wrong though. I'd say, flip a coin. Heads, Betrayer. Tails, FtT. Same situation with Angel Exterminatus. Blindhamster
Threadomancy but... What happens to Erebus first? The end of FtT or Betrayer? Presumably betrayer ends before FtT ends? Jareddm
Yes, Betrayer ends before the epilogue of FtT. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270392-betrayer-and-fear-to-tread/#findComment-3366344 Share on other sites
Aegnor
Always read in the order published, regardless of chronology, in my experience. A book published in 2012, barring really weird circumstances, cannot spoiler a book published in 2013. In this case, there are no definite spoilers but there are allusions in Betrayer that are better enjoyed if you've read FtT. Garro: Sword of Truth should be listened before Garro: Legion of One. Despite it being released after it.
