rokclimber77 Posted February 2, 2013 Author Share Posted February 2, 2013 I work with plaster for the masters as it is east to carve. I then make a rubber negative mold from the masters and use dental stone to make actual bases. Dental stone cures rock hard and works well as may bases represent stone anyway. To be honest there are so many bases out there I had never thought to sell. Here is an image of some 30mm bases I made up as well as what a finished mold looks like. same tile design but with design for Dark Angels... If I have a need for 30mm bases I will most likely make one or two designs with a Templar theme, but since I matched the tile design, I can intermix them.
