SirAstartes Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Hey everyone, welcome to my thread, let me start by saying that I haven't build an Army since I was around 14 years old (25 now), a very long time ago, I'm jumping in the deep end. My plan is to firstly put my models together, give them the look and personality of the Wolves and then slowly start to paint them. I've never been a great painter but if I set my mind to it, read tutorials and give my effort to the project then I can bring the VI Legion to life. As all you know Forgeworld has now stepped up they have begun their campaign on bringing the Horus Heresy to the table, over the last couple of months I've been inspired by player built armies. The Warhammer community is one of the most dedicated and artistic I've laid my eyes on, the work people have created has gave me the motivation to create a Crusade/Heresy era army I always wanted. matchbox Posted February 12, 2013 Share Posted February 12, 2013 might i suggest if you want the sergeants pistol arm looking the same as his sword arm grab a chaos one and shave of the arrows? the gauntlets will match and it won't look odd. I've been thinking of using a MK III heavy weapons team for my Logan-Bomb (Multi-melta long Fangs in a drop pod+ Logan Grimnar to give them Relentless).
