Nice mini's ^_^

I'm currently gathering bitz for a kitbash of my own, but I'm struggling to find something suitable for a Crozius.  Short of buying a conventional Chaplain and hacking it up (which kind of defeats what I'm trying to do :( ) I don't know what to try.  Any suggestions would be gratefully received ^_^

Banner toppers typically would be the most readily available. Any sort of stylised mace/bludgeoning weapons are great starting points also. There's been a couple of innovative ones from the challenge, GK force staves, fantasy chaos maces.

Cheers,

Jono

The simplest thing would probably be to take an axe or mace handle and replace the head with this or that bit from the command squad.

Pretty much this. Best way to do it. Especially the eagle ones.

Ok guys, here's mine.

I've got a problem with the bolters though....the new ones don't fit in the Chaplain fairing so it isn't 100% complete.  Either way, I'm happy with the result!  Oh, and apologies in advance for the poor phone camera shots!

Grotsmasha, will you be doing runner up banners for the nine that don't win? It'd be quite a cool unique banner and not too much work (I think?). Just the participation banner with "Runner Up" or "Finalist" or something similar on it. If you really wanted to go to town you could do First, Second and Third place too :).

Wow. Considering that my entry is one of the simpler ones, i'm very honored (and surprised) that it made it to the Final Five. Whatever happens after, i'll always have fond memories of this contest.

If its any consolation Noctus, if the rules weren't they way they are, your first Dark Apostle would've been Top 5, as it his pics have made it into my "motivational mini's folder".

@ Toxichobbit: I'll be opening a HoH thread which will be for models completed in this, or any subsequent challenge. I'll link it here once its open, before the end of the month.

Cheers,

Jono
