Prescience and plasma cannon servitors?

Does prescience work on the distance scattered dice rolls and/or the scatter dice?

 

Or would it let you re-roll any 1s that did pop up for gets hot?

Both dude. Whilst 'Prescience' is active, here is the process;

 

Step 1: Roll for 'Gets Hot'. If you fail, re-roll

Step 2: Provided you didn't 'Get Hot', place blast marker, roll for scatter

Step 3: If you scatter horribly, you can re-roll. You have to re-roll all three dice though

 

It's amazing. Gets even better when Coteaz gets 'Perfect Timing' up as well. Ignoring cover saves with plasma cannons is just nasty

Could either of you post the sequence rules-wise. Specifically I'm interested where it's written that the Gets Hot roll can also be re-rolled.

Awesome thanks guys! Doesn't the scatter dice get rolled and any 1s count as gets hot? Or have I been playing it wrong

The rule your looking for is under the "gets hot" usr in the BYB. I don't have my rule book with me or I'd quote it for you, but feel free to check it out.

I've just checked and darius has got it right, I was thinking of normal get hot weapons not blast get hot ones
