Love it @Son of Rawl! That is a really nice definition, did you use a blacklining method?

I finished a couple of Scouring-era Sons of Horus, a Reaver and a Cataphracti.

They look great. Good use of Chaos kits to bridge the gap between eras.

For the White Scar I used AK Interactive grime, followed by a reduction method where you remove what parts you don't want shaded. Still getting used to this method, it takes awhile and alot can go wrong. But I think the results are worth it.

TITH I started to assemble my Primal Hounds bits Terminator strangling a Tyranid Guant, still need to add the front claws once I have the pads on the Termie in place.  Not sure if I'll make him look dead or trying to fight his way out of the choke-hold.

I was priming some of the Sector Mechanicus bases in the backyard when I decided to drop one of them.

After much searching and putting off mowing the lawn for waaaaay too long...

I'm down 1 × 40mm base.

Today in the hobby I finally finished the kill team starter set models I started as a pallette cleanser project 6 months ago. Having a 1 year old really saps your hobby time. I would upload a picture but I have no idea how to reduce the file size.

Last time I had to upload a picture and the max size had dropped, I used the snipping tool on the picture, the resulting image is drastically lighter

Today in the hobby, I received a message from FLGS that the carton of Christmas boxes my Iron Halo Strike Force was in was 'lost' by a courier. They are trying to get more from GW on Monday. I also have a Crux box on preorder with them, which I bet will go missing too. It's hard enough to get these boxes that it kinda makes me want to tap out of the hobby before I get too deep into it.

Tith I finally started painting my november vow for the 12 months of hobby challenge. Better late than never I guess.

I also visited a modelism shop that recently opened in my area, just to check if they had any cool supplies. And it turned out they stock Warhammer products! Too bad I don't have that kind of cash right now because they had two boxe of Crux Terminatus, seemingly at a discount (178€!)

It was a couple of days ago, but I'm sharing now. Just joined a new 40k gaming group, and the guy with all the terrain moved away. So I scratchbuilt this terrain with my partner (she did the 3d designs and the cardboard core, and I did everything else). I didn't put too many sci-fi touches on them as I want them to be used in other settings including D&D. Other pictures are in spoiler tags.

Today I have had a whole 8 hours at home without the wife and toddler. I have built 10 iron warriors havocs from MK2 marines and then cleaned up my hobby space, sorted out some kits I realistically will never get round to painting and put them up on eBay. Still have another few hours before they get home so might get started building my iron warriors exalted champion/Saturnine centurion. I should do this more often.

Tithi...

Rolled the minimum number of attacks with my vindicator's demolisher cannon and still one-shotted a repulsor. T'was a powerful moment.

Also finished these. They'll go up on my blog shortly (along with a butt-ton of other stuff because I haven't been posting )

TITH I actually did some hobby stuff for the first time in months. Started work on the marine element of a truescale 4th edition Witch Hunters army, not sure what Chapter to do them as just yet but making them pre return of the Primarchs.

Planning on using a Spartan as a truescale Landraider and Sicarians as truescale Predator proxies both with some minor conversion work. Beauty of 4th edition is that it has proper vehicle design rules so may use that to give me the incentive to build one of my knights that is sat unopened.

Today I discovered that TT combat Matt brown primer and Matt brown paint are completely different colours. My plan for super speedy Iron warriors got a little less speedy now I have to airbrush a brown base layer on every model.
