The bottom picture goes along with the discussion of Sororitas with long hair.

Hot-linked images turned into links.

Speaking of Mod Hats, This thread might be the basis of a resource sticky, perhaps if the images were harvested and collated.

I like this idea, but it's not a light amount of work, especially since the recent incarnation of the board doesn't seem to have image-resizing built into it (that I've seen). Each image would need to be manually linked and/or sized via some other means (using photobucket's resizing links for instance) and it'd require cleanup...for which I personally don't have time. :smile.: I don't think I can sticky this thread as-is (given the size of the images alone) but if there's enough call for it, I can try to push it through.

If somebody wants this for a pet project, shoot me a PM and we can hash out details. <3 (In the absence of such a PM, I suspect that this thread will stay very near the top for a while even without a sticky flag.)

That's great Thade. I would undertake that job but I can barely do anything other then point and click. Getting the pics I posted here on here was a big chore for me but hopefully someone will take the mantle.

I tried to do the downloadable paper sister but my pc can't open the program. Any ideas or is there another format these paper cut outs are in?

Once you have the Sister template, you have to open it in a program called "Pepakura viewer 3"

Nice Miko, great slide show. Here is one I didn't see on yours. It is currently my back ground.

She looks pretty serious.

This was the inspiration for a model build.  let me see if I have a picture somewhere.......

This was a piece I myself had commissioned for my RPG character from Dar Heresy. I gave the artist some exacting details to follow.

Quick question so I know what to do.

I thought Deviant Art was an acceptable image hosting site.  Is it not?  How about CMoN? (I kind of doubt that is if DA is not)

Correction - it's only okay if the site is a dedicated image sharing site intended for other sites (such as this one) to host from. So that includes sites like Photobucket, Imageshack, and now things like Tumblr. Deviant Art is a site where artists posts images, but not for linking those images to other sites. So if you want to share an image that you've found at Deviant Art or other similar sites, you'll have to download the images, upload them to an image sharing site or your free gallery here at the B&C, and then post the images from the new location.

The chainsword on the left one looks a bit odd, probably due to the angle.

Also, the one on the right looks kinda cute. :happy.:

As for the image resizing and such...

It kinda looks like the site does something at least.

Also, what is the opinion on crossovers and art?

Because I reckon some people might not like seeing stuff like this:

One has to ask why.

Also, that second image looks more Eldar than Sororitas. :tongue.:

One: ask those people. I ain't touching that subject with an 11-foot pole.

As for the second picture; well, she wields a bolter. But I can agree, that with the picture's size, along with the positioning and the armour's colour, it could be a bit vague.

This is a sculpt and not an image.

Sculpted by hand in green stuff.  I am amazed that this is even possible.

Whomever did that has some serious skill! ^_^

I think we should stay with the canon look, including some artistic freedoms like hair and such. As far as 2D is concerned I myself welcome any type including drawings, renders, computer art or scanned.

I think we also can agree that miniature modeling is an art form in itself, so this is the correct thread for it, if it is Sororitas themed?

And actually I think there is even some good Sororitas costume play out there.

[no cannons anymore!]

Fresh from DA:

Title: Canoness.

She looks young, but I guess at that lvl of power, anti aging procedures will be given by the Administratum, with correct clearance.
