Wraith776 Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 Hey everyone, I'm putting together my DA army, and flipping through the codex I noticed that there isn't an entry for storm ravens or talons, and a few others. I'm wondering if its alright if i use units from the regular marines like the flyers, or will i need to bring allies? Thanks in advance. The Stormraven was granted to most Chapters recently but we weren't one of them. Dark Angels can't have either. They are not available to dark angels, although you could ally take an ally who has access to them. This in a nutshell, unless your local gaming decides to house rule their use in C:DA, without using allies. Otherwise, you need to take allies to use them. Does this mean that every Space Marine Chapter now hasaccess to these vehicles as well (i.e. Space Wolves, Blood Angels, GreyKnights etc.)? (p411)A: No – you may only select units and vehicles that areavailable in the army list section of your codex. The twoexceptions are the Stormtalon and Stormraven Gunships,which are only available to armies chosen from Codex: SpaceMarines and Codex: Black Templars.
